Scarriff, Co. Clare, since 2012
Where Blackbay began
Since 2012 we have been a team living and working in Ireland, on water we have learned to read day after day. We guide anglers from across Europe on Lough Derg and the rivers of the Shannon system: vast water, rich in baitfish, with healthy stocks that still keep producing fish.
What we fish for
Freshwater is what we do best: pike and brown trout. In summer we also run packages on the Atlantic, along the West Clare coast.
-
PIKE
Wild, lightly fished water and some of the hardest-fighting pike in Europe. Spinning and fly.
Apr – Jun, Aug – Oct -
TROUT
Big wild brown trout on the large lakes, with minnows and light jerkbaits.
Apr – Jun, Sep – Oct -
SEA BASS
Shore fishing on the West Clare coast for sea bass and pollack. A separate programme.
July
